Hello from 2012

Google Street View Trekker really took off in 2012. Back then, Google employees were seen all over the world, sporting some pretty unusual gear on their backs.

During the pandemic, I started my own travels using Google Maps. Every day, I explored different countries and cities through Street View. I set the clock back to 2012 and captured scenes of people happily waving at this new, unfamiliar technology.

Google Street View Trekkerは2012年から広く行われています。その時、Googleのスタッフ達は、かなり特異な装備を背負って世界中を歩き回っていました。

新型コロナの間、私はGoogleマップで旅行を始め、毎日色々な国をストリートビューサービスで歩いています。時間を2012年に設定して、未知のテクノロジーにまだ手を振って喜んでいる人々を捉えました。


2020-2021
